about

Julia Sabbagh is a musician in Northampton, Massachusetts playing indie rock that’s scattered with pop influences. Though currently based in landlocked western Mass, she grew up in coastal eastern Mass, and the dichotomies of both are reflected in her writing.

She creates her own dreamlike landscapes pulling from her personal spirituality and mysticism, while also diving deep into the literalness of reality and storytelling.

Her musical style ranges from melodic finger picking to harsh overdrives and lush distortion, and her lyrics are dreamy yet sobering, and fluctuate between stripped-back ease and
high-concept impressionism.

She takes longs walks every day. She thinks about the ocean a lot.
